School Council

What we do to help the school

The school council gives children a chance to share their ideas for making Guyhirn Church of England Primary School a better place. Our policy is that everybody in the school should have a chance to share their ideas and be listened to. We have set up a suggestion box in every class so if someone wants to make a suggestion to improve our school then they can. We think this will be good for children who are shy about talking about their ideas.

At our first meeting  of the Autumn Term on 3rd October , our new committee discussed the following:
  • Individual jobs and responsibilities
  • Fund raising ideas
  • What we would like to buy for the school.
  • Ideas for the future

We hold meetings throughout the year, arranging fund raising days, dress up days and lots of other exciting things.
