The School Day
All children will be given breakfast in their classroom when they start school at the staggered start times
A typical timetable for the day looks like this:-
Start times : 8:30am
08:30 Registration every day
Session 1
08.30 am - 10.30 am Learning and Teaching
10.30 am - 10.45 am Collective Worship
10:45 am - 11:00 am Morning Break
11:00 am - 12:00pm Learning and Teaching
Staggered lunches from 11:45am to 1pm
12:30 -1:00 Afternoon Registration (dependent on class)
Session 3
12:30/ 12:45/ 1 pm - 2.50pm Learning and Teaching
2:50 pm - 3:00 pm Reflection Time
3:00 pm School Ends
3:00 pm - 4:00 pm Various After School Clubs
If children arrive after 9 am it will be recorded as an
unauthorised absence owing to lateness (unless there is a
good reason).
If your child is persistently late then the
Headteacher will be informed. Our current target for
attendance for the whole school is 100%.
A weekly attendance cup is awarded to the class with the best attendance and termly certificates are also awarded to pupils. Attendance letters will be sent termly for children whose attendance falls below 96%.
